ATTENTION ALL AIR CRAFT FLYING INTO GREYTOWN
Dear aviator
MMC2010 will be a major event and, as we all know, aircraft will be a popular mode of transport. We at Mighty Men Conference Aviation (MMCA) are doing our best to make this option of transport available.
In order to make this possible, airfield owners made their facilities available, and ATC’s and other helpers volunteered their time etc. Your cooperation will be highly appreciated, to make this a SAFE and pleasant operation.
Firstly all facilities used will be at your own discretion and risk. You as pilot/operator, will have to inform your passengers with regard to the conditions of use.
Secondly, you will have to sign an indemnity form waiver in favour of MMC2010, owners of airfields, transporters and any organization/person associated with the event etc. before a permit will be granted.

General Info
CAMU declared airspace around the event which will be controlled by ATNS ATC’s. (The detail of approach and departure routes, frequencies etc. will form part of the info pack you will receive)
As far as airfields are concerned, we will make use of two fields and one helicopter LZ. The one field is owned by Pannar and the other by a farmer in the district. (PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THEM DIRECTLY). The helicopter LZ will be close to MMC HQ.
The Pannar Field will be used for “Drop and Go” only as the CAA licence conditions do not make provision for parking on the grass (safety issue).
The second airfield (Lowrance Field) is a non registered grass strip where limited parking will be available.
The Helicopter LZ will be used for parking as well.
A slot system will be used on a “first booked, first serve” basis.

Procedure

stating the following:
- a. AC Type
- b. AC Reg.
- c. Requested Arrival Date & Time
- d. Requested Departure Date & Time
- e. Field requested (Pannar, Lowrance of Heli LZ) – Should Pannar be the choice, please indicate relocation airport, be it Lowrance airfield or another airport outside the MMC Airspace.
- f. No. of Pax
- g. Contact details of pilot
- h. Contact details of operator (if applicable)
2. MMCA will forward the following to the applicant:
- a. Indemnity form
- b. Possible slot times (as close as possible to the requested times)
- c. Conditions
3. The applicant needs to complete the indemnity form and mail a signed copy to MMCA (Mighty Men Conference Aviation)
4. Once we receive the indemnity form, MMCA will:
- a. Issue a permit stating slot dates and times
- b. Attach arrival and departure procedures etc.
Please note, that unless you are in possession of a permit, you will not be allowed into the airspace.
Please ensure that you also have an MMC2010 ticket for each person
Transport Arrangements
MMCA will have a Departure and Arrival Tent close to MMC2010 HQ from which transport will be provided to the relevant airfields. (NO person, including the pilot/s, will be allowed to enter the airfields by themselves. You and you pax will be transported from the airfields to the tent and back to the airfields.
You need to make your own arrangements to get to your campsite from the tent.
On the day of departure, please ensure that you and your pax are at the tent at least an hour before your depart the slot time, for transport to the airfield.
